WHEAT bread became more expensive this year!

We all know how expensive gluten free bread can be.

A loaf of the gluten free favorite sandwich bread at our local Whole Foods is $8.99.

Wheat bread will most likely never be that expensive, but take heart the average price for a loaf of wheat bread was up 11 percent over the past 12 months.

Drought and bad weather have cut yields, while demands for wheat have surged in China and India, and there has been a drive to plant more acres of corn for ethanol. 

Okay, maybe this a stretch, but at least that is one thing we don't have to worry about!
