The dehydration, exhaustion, anxiety. It all sounds so familiar. And the clueless behavior of the interviewer, just as familiar.
I will never forget Alex being so dehydrated that they would poke her over and over again trying to find a vein.
I will also never forget the "friend" who upon finding out she had celiac responded by saying "at least it is not cancer." This same person recently said Alex could not come over because she could not accommodate her diet.
