We have been updating our Gluten Free Pantry with some of our Favorite Gluten Free Food! Of course, the easiest, safest, best Gluten Free food is the natural veggies and fruit, and local meat. But every once in awhile, you have to throw in a pizza crust. And while we used to make homemade bread, I have to admit that I love the convenience of being able to purchase a loaf of GF bread!

The following are some new products that we have sampled. If you have read my blog, you know that I am vigilant at finding SAFE gluten free food. While I could never guarantee the gluten free status of any manufactured food, I have contacted the manufacturers of all the foods listed and we do eat this food ourselves.
Udi Muffin Tops and Brownie Bites:

Love both of them! The muffin tops are great for traveling or for a special treat in the lunch box. Not only are they made in a dedicated GF facility, they are fortified with 10 vitamins and minerals. This was such a special treat for my kids! Not health food, but when they pulled these out at lunch time the other kids were actually envious of their GF food!
King Arthur Multi-Purpose Gluten Free Flour:

Lately I have been using this flour with very good results in my baking and cookiing. Certified GF!

Canyon Bakehouse:
Watch out Udi, there is some competition in town. I was pleasantly surprised by the Canyon Bakehouse bread. The 7 grain bread Taste more like the whole grain bread we used to eat and they offers larger slices than Udi Bread. The Rosemary and Thyme Focaccia will leave your taste buds satisfied! Certified GF!
Snyder's of Hanover Gluten Free Pretzels:
Snyder's has taken the extra step to certify their pretzels are GF. A snack I can count on!
The Better Chip:
These Chips are surprisingly good for a healthier snack item - made from double corn masa, 40% fresh veggies and enhanced with a smidgen of sea salt or natural seasoning for a better tasting chip. They only use natural ingredients. No preservatives. No gluten. Nothing genetically modified. And no cholesterol. Naturally gluten free and processed on GF lines. However, "they are packaged in the same facility and sometimes on the same pack lines as gluten-containing products. Equipment used to package gluten- containing products is thoroughly cleaned, sanitized and inspected after packaging of gluten-containing items and prior to packaging of non-gluten containing items to avoid any potential cross contamination. Further, through 3rd party certification we have verified that The Better Chip® line exceeds current FDA requirements for gluten free labeling and we perform ongoing testing on finished products to ensure continued compliance with our strict gluten-free standards."
Kettle Cuisine Frozen Soups:
These GF soups are so good. Chicken Soup with Rice Noodles is perfect when you are down and out with a cold. The Thai Curry was a little spicy but so satisfying. I think you will enjoy them and the convenience of a frozen soup is awesome. Certified GF and tested to be less than 5 ppm of gluten!
Ian's GF Onion Rings:
Oh my goodness these are so good! I am actually not sure if they are that good, or if it was just because we had not had onion rings in years! Either way, we loved them!
