We generally like a lot of the Glutino products, but we were really impressed with the Baguettes.
We tried them with dinner tonight, and everyone let out a collective "WOW" on first tasting them.
They reminded us so much of the bread we used to eat for dinner - not the restaurant quality melt-in-your-mouth kind of bread, but the pre-made grocery store garlic-type of bread.
I was thinking of saving them for brochette, but when it looked like dinner was going to be a flop (a new recipe I will save you from) I:
cut open the bag
defrosted in the microwave for 45 seconds
cut them in half
added a generous serving of Earth Balance (butter for those who can have it) and sprinkled them with garlic salt.
Then I baked them for 15 minutes at 350 to warm them up and broiled them for a few minutes just to get a nice crispy crust on top.
Sorry no photos - they were gone before I could get the camera out tonight. But you can find them by following this link: Glutino Baguettes
